only. We are unable to support older product
versions with this release. Customers requiring
support for older ArcGIS for Desktop versions
should continue using the previous plug-in
versions.
This plug-in supports the ability to read local
Enhanced Compression Wavelet (ECW), ERDAS
ER Mapper ERS and Algorithm (ALG) files in
ArcGIS 10.1 for Desktop. It also provides
discovery of data from ERDAS APOLLO, and
consumption of that data by OGC WMS or the
streaming ECWP protocol within the ArcGIS 10.1
for Desktop interface. By enabling ArcGIS for
Desktop users to query, discover and view their
remotely managed data holdings, Esri customers
benefit from augmenting existing workflows with
the power of ERDAS APOLLO’s cataloging,
serving and security system.

ERDAS 2011 ECW Plug-in for Internet Browsers, Version 11.0.4
Released August 23, 2012. This plug-in adds high-performance streaming of both ECW and JP2 geospatial aerial and satellite imagery over the internet using the ECW Protocol (ECWP) from ERDAS APOLLO Essentials Image Web Server. The Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, and Google Chrome browsers are supported.

ERDAS 2011 ECW Plug-in for ArcGIS Desktop, Version 11.1
Released December 9, 2011. This plug in enables high-performance display and opacity support for Enhanced Compression Wavelet (ECW), ERDAS ER Mapper ERS and algorithm (ALG) files data within ArcGIS Desktop. Additionally, this plugin supports discovery, access and visualization of data via WMS or ECWP from ERDAS APOLLO Essentials – Image Web Server or ERDAS APOLLO Advantage within ArcGIS Desktop. By enabling ArcGIS Desktop users to query, discover and view their remotely managed data holdings, customers benefit from augmenting existing ArcGIS Desktop workflows with the power of ERDAS APOLLO’s cataloguing, serving and security system.
ArcGIS Desktop versions 9.3 and 10 are supported. Correct installation of a supported version of ArcGIS Desktop is required. Software licenses of ArcGIS products must be obtained and licensed from ESRI before installing ECW for ArcGIS Desktop.

ECW Plug-In for ArcPad, Version 1.2 (Supports ArcPAD 6.0)
Released September 30, 2003. This plug-in adds support for displaying ECW and JP2 data in ArcPAD. It also provides high-performance streaming of both ECW and JP2 geospatial aerial and satellite imagery over the internet using the ECW Protocol (ECWP) from ERDAS APOLLO Essentials Image Web Server. It requires the PocketPC, PocketPC 2002 or HPC2000 Operating Systems running on Standard PC, Pocket PC with StrongArm Processor, or Trimble hardware.

ERDAS ECWP Browser Plugin 2013
ERDAS ECWP Browser Plugin adds ECWP support to Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome web browsers on the Windows platform. The plugin must be installed before using the Intergraph streaming protocol served from ERDAS APOLLO.
